3x Sleeping speed feels like 2x/regular 3x

*I did see a post about this, but no solution was found and the post ended up locked.

I've been playing a family in the Sims 4 for... two days now. I've noticed that the regular 3x and the 3x Sleeping speed seem the same. Sometimes it does set it to the 3x sleeping speed, but it only happens for one second. I tried repairing it via the EA app, but nothing happened and it ended up the same thing.

(Unrelated: Sometimes the sims don't go to work/school for like 30 minutes, then leave, and come home late. This may just be really big lag or something.)

    @NotCacti Do you have a lot of Sims and a lot of interactable items on the lot? You might just be dealing with general "lots of stuff" simulation lag. Try testing in a different household, different lot.

    I made a tiny residential in Newcrest (unlike the other save of an Apartment in San Myshuno, which we will call S1 for "Save One"), which we will call S2, and put a female sim (all of the S1 sims were male) and a cat (for no reason) in the new house. S2 ended up getting Ultra Speed, but only when I paused the game and then played.

    Don't understand why it suddenly started working again after I wrote that it didn't work.

    @NotCacti the ultra speed doesn't work for me either in an apartment in san myshuno, i tested with and without mods. it works fine when i was in willow creek and newcrest.
