Acer Nitro 5

Hi everyone,

I currently have the ASUS Vivobook X512DA. I own all packs except Spooky Day and the Throwback Kit. I play on high/ultra settings and generally get good performance, some larger lots can be a bit slow, or if my Sims have 3+ children, but other than that plays well. The past month or so my game has been getting really laggy and my average FPS is about 40. I want to be able to continue buying packs and worry that my laptop won't take much more haha. I'm looking in to getting a budget gaming laptop and wondered if this would make any difference? I'll posts links to the laptop I currently have and the one that I want.

What I would like:

  • @jrbrukz  Sims 4 should run much better on the Nitro than on your current laptop.  If you want other suggestions, I can look around a bit, but in this price range, you're not likely to find anything with better hardware, just perhaps a few variations on the same setup.  And the Nitro is a well-rated option in the budget gaming laptop category.  Point is, if you like this one and its price, it's a very good choice.
