Item saved from web gallery no longer available

I'm on PC and I've just updated my game today. When I was offline a few days ago, I went onto the web version of the gallery and downloaded a couple of items, but couldn't access them because my game was outdated. Now this message, "oops items from web version of the gallery is no longer available" keeps popping up every time I open my game and during random times in the middle of my gameplay.

I've already tried deleting caches, removing the items I've downloaded from the web version, adding them back, nothing helped.

Yes. I've removed my entire Sims 4 folder, deleted all caches, reset the EA app, signed in/out of the EA app, repaired the game, tried launching offline then closing and relaunching online and removing my tray folder. I get the popup no matter what.

  • Hi Renasai1

To be sure, you removed the Sims 4 folder in Documents not the installation one ?

Do you have a screenshot without mods/cc ?

Yes. I removed the folder under under documents > electronic arts >. I took the "The Sims 4" folder out, renamed it and placed it on my desktop, which my mods folder was inside of. The game generated a fresh one with absolutely no mods in the fresh mod folder when I relaunched and none of my screen/ui override mods showed up when the game was starting up like they usually do because they were in the folder that I removed and renamed. I didn't take any screenshots. I've removed my mods folder, my tray folder and both at the same time. When removing neither of those folders separately or together worked, I removed my entire "The Sims 4" folder all together, which included my mods/cc.

Unfortunately not. I reset the EA app caches and removed my Sims 4 folder again and got a screenshot of the popup this time. I'll add it to the post.

Can you try if it works on a new Windows user ?

You can make a local one, start the game there and see if it occurs there too.

    Seems your screenshot didn't upload

I couldn't open the game from the local account. Is there a way to just get my account cleared of whatever is triggering the popup from EAs side?

It still needs to be an admin account. By local I mean that you don't need to make another MS Account.

You would need to contact support for anything account related.

My current account is an administrator account. You're saying I'll need to contact EA directly for the popup issue?
