Adopting adults

I was trying too but noticed I was only able to get the “ask to be adopted” option with the pre made sims in the new world. I didn’t try with the Landgraabs or Goths. Seems silly that you can’t have the sims you make adopt your other sims……..I tried, doesn’t work with the goths lol.

Yeah it’s new sim I made in the world with no previous ties. Was trying to get her adopted by one of my existing family but the option never came up 

Yea it worked for me. I was able to adopt Amarachi Darong as Cordelia.

Could you post a screenshot of the Sims family tree from the Sims perspective ?

Do you not get it at all or just for certain parents as someone else suggested in this thread ?

Also to be sure, you're not using mods/cc ?

No mods or cc, its fresh savefile. Also, is this feature exclusive to the new pack and not the base game? I thought that it was base game. If it's not, then that's why. I do not have the newest pack
