Alice's sorrow quest

Question

Hi! I've been seeing a lot of people having the same issue. Has anyone figured out how to get the Alice's Sorrow quest unstuck? I was trying to get 2 sims through at the same time and the option to ask about Alice's Sorrow is grayed out. I've tried resetting the quest several times for both sims and have restarted the game. I do not play with any Mods or CC. Any advice out there?

@TallRedHairGirl  I just tested with a second Sim in my game and it was working fine.Did you try finishing the quest with the first Sim and then try a second ?
