All furniture disappears from Apartment when moving in

Hello, I have had a few apartments where sims have lived until they died (so no one moved out and sold the furniture). I try to fill them with new families to keep the city populated. I usually star...

    Hi @erwillz - I think you should be able to place a copy of your furnished apartments into the gallery. Once you move a Sim into the apartment, I believe you should be able to replace the occupied unfurnished lot with the furnished copy in build mode. I know this strategy would work with normal lots. I don’t have a lot of experience with replacing apartments, but I think it would work. In any case, it wouldn’t take long to try it. Good luck!     Hey @erwillz-

    Hoping solved status means you’re currently enjoying the fruits of your labor. i’m having a hard time being articulate at the moment, because I think i might have just violated the laws of physics the first time I tried to put this into words just now... But, the underlying point was: I know what it’s like to get lost in a design project..and how I value what I’ve created - in the Sims and life too - so totally got where you were coming from.
