Animal aging keeps turning back on

I keep turning it off, and it turns back on almost every time I open the game.

I got Cottage Living and a few other packs at the last sale, and for first it was fine

Last week this started happening, and I'm quite upset that my animals are dying.

DLC I have:

  • Cats and Dogs
  • Island Living
  • Cottage Living
  • Vampires
  • Realm of Magic
  • Werewolves
  • Nifty Knitting
  • Spooky Stuff
  • Blooming Rooms
  • Holiday Celebration Pack

Mods I use:

  • MCCC
  • UI Cheats Extension
  • PlantSim Lives
  • Godjul's Height Slider
  • More Traits in CAS
  • Pure Winter's Cat Height Slider

All but the last one had been updated since the last big patch, and all have been otherwise working fine for the last two weeks.

    @Csilla1224 to be sure, it's the actual option that's no longer set to off and not just the animals dying anyways (know issue) ?

    If that's the case, what platform are you on ? Did you try without mods/cc ?

    Hi,

    Sorry, I didn't have time to play in the beginning of the week.

    It is the Game Option, that gets checked in, when I've had it unchecked before.

    The problem is still present if I remove my mods.

    It looks like it occurs less frequently, but that might just be happening by chance, as it seemed to be happening randomly in the first place.

    I'm on PC.

    @Csilla1224 Usually reverting options are caused by the security software blocking or the options.ini being corrupt. In case of the aging setting, this is a bit different as they are saved per save game.

    Does it happen on multiple saves ?

    Yes, it happened in two different ones. My Main save that I don't like opening without my mods, and my No mods save I started during the Reapers Revards event, that I went back to, to test this.

    In both cases, I turned it off, and it turned back on. About half a dozen times in the former and twice in the latter.

    @Csilla1224 On PC I had a similar issue and I bypassed it by using the Disable Cottage Living Animal Aging Fix mod by LittleMsSam.

    @Csilla1224 is this the only setting that reverts ?

    Try if deleting the option.ini does anything.

    You will need to reset all your settings but maybe it sticks then
    .
    The options doesn't seem to work properly still anyways though, even if it doesn't reset.
