Okay, now that I'm home and able to sit down and actually look at this. This is not the trait I'm talking about. Animal Whisperer is the reward trait you get from completing the aspiration. That cheat works. Haven't had an issue getting this one. It's the bonus trait that is the problem. Whenever you pick an aspiration, each category has their own bonus traits that you get. Like Muser for any Creative Aspiration or High Metabolism for any of the Physical/Active Aspirations, etc. For picking to do the Friends of the Animals aspiration you get a trait for Animal Affection. It used to be I could just do -- traits.equip_trait attraction -- and the trait would work. It isn't working anymore for some strange reason. Now the picture I attached is from my Main Sim, so you can see what the trait looks like in the Sim's personality panel. I tried to add it to my Sim's 2 children. I thought maybe it's now restricted, but that isn't the case, as I tried to add it to her husband, Don Lothario, and it still didn't work. It won't go with any of them. I haven't had any new Sims except the children since that pack. So this is the first time I noticed it no longer works. It's worked for all ages before. I keep wondering if someone didn't realize the trait was related to the Cats & Dogs pack and removed it during the Love Struck programming. Or maybe they renamed the cheat to not conflict. I just can't find the right combination.
