As of 1/21/24 I'm having this issue it's been about 2.5 weeks. It was to the point where I deleted all of saves and it still kept doing it even with a fresh download/files. Before it would just freeze on the pumbob screen, unmoving. Now it's loads smoothly, captions and words flow well but it will continually spin and generate captions, anyone found a a solution?

same problem. And EA keeps giving the same * excuse remove all mods. But everybody who removed mods have the same freaking problem. This is getting old, Not even Blizzard/Activision has this many problems.
I’ve done so many mod-less tests to try and fix the problem and absolutely nothing works. I’m on a nice gaming pc, i’ve repaired my game and cleared my cashe, done all the troubleshooting suggestions and nothing works.
It usually only happens when placing lots from the gallery in the manage worlds screen, going into build mode and placing it that way works about 50% of the time. Some of these houses used tool mod, some don’t, so it can’t be because of that. It’s usually big lots (which is expected, I understand crashing in these scenarios) but sometimes they can be simple 30x20’s that cause the issue.
I’m trying to redo Chestnut Ridge - I figured that trying to place the 64x64 wouldn’t work so I tried to load into build mode, but I got the endless loading screen glitch just loading into the empty lot. EA can’t blame tool mod or bb.moveobjects when I couldn’t load into an empty field that they built.
The biggest issue is the game cannot be closed when this happens. I can’t get the menu to pop up to leave the game, I can’t just close the tab, and even through task manager the game refuses to close. The only solution is to restart my pc which is extremely annoying. Can you please stop blaming this on mods when it’s clearly an EA issue?
Hello, I remind you of this bug because I just saw the list of bug priorities and this one is not curious.
because for me a loading of the game that runs infinitely I find that it is a priority.
