Problems with the Internet connection in the game
Good afternoon! I have a problem like this. I noticed that while logging into the game, for some reason it stopped connecting to the Internet or endless connecting. But at the same time, everything is fine in other applications and I'm online. This has been happening for two weeks now. I cleaned the cache, logged out of my account and logged in again, changed the Internet, restored the game files. Nothing helps. I play with a PC and live in Russia .

I've been a Simmer since the Sims added Drew Carey in 2001. I have to now admit that the Sims is so totally broken it is unplayable. I have never seen the Sims so bad. I have followed all the instructions for fixing the game. I use NO custom content. I even tried getting rid of the whole game and reinstalling. It did not help. Problem 1 - It all started with not being able to save lots. It takes super long to save a lot and most of the time it does not save. Problem 2 - The only books my sims can purchase are books my sims already own. The other books do not appear. The other books are not greyed out. Entire categories of books are missing from the purchase menu. Problem 3 - My sims cannot swim. I cannot even select the water. I tried teleporting my sims to the water and cannot. Problem 4 - My sims cannot be married. My sims have gotten married several times, are still single, and keep getting phone calls from friends suggesting they should think about something long term.
Stuck on Family Photo Screen After CAS (June 30 2026 Update)
After the June 30 2026 update, I can’t load into gameplay when I create a new Sim in CAS. I make the Sim (or household), click done, and it just gets stuck forever on the family photo/household preview screen. It never actually loads the world. This only happens with brand new households created in CAS. If I add a household straight from the Gallery or through Manage Worlds, it loads fine. I’ve already removed all mods and the entire Mods + Trays folders, repaired the game multiple times in the EA App, cleared the cache files, and even tried a full user files reset. Still no luck. No mods or CC at all right now.Home Page Error After Loading
Once I hit start to play on the EA App, my game loads, very slowly. But then when it finally loads to the Home Screen to resume game, it is just a black screen. I have cleared cache's, removed mods, uninstalled then reinstalled. I literally have no clue what to do and I can't playPie menu broken(tested without mods)
hello, my game has being broken after the update. i have tested without mods, when i click on the person no interections shows up. i repaired the game and only friendly shows up said teach to sing and nothing else, no introductions, no small intests or anything. The game keep freezing or lagging too i don't know what to do. Game version: 1.124.63.1020
Items visible in CAS don't work
Hi I have been playing the Sims 4 since 2014 and have a lot of packs. I haven't opened my game in like 3 months, and now I was ready to play again. I made a family using the items in CAS, matching the packs I have installed, but when trying to save the household or place it, the game tells me, that I have used items, that isn't installed. I have narrowed it down to, that it is Growing Together, Horse Ranch, For Rent and High School Years, that doesn't work. I have tried everything google suggest, clearing cache, deleting the packages, clearing "thumbfiles", repairing the game, the "vanilla-method", starting a new save. I play with some CC and have previously used the invisible crib mod, but have deleted the mods and almost all of the CC. Removing the CC from the folder or playing without allowing mods, doesn't work either. I can place the family, but the game crashes, if I try to load the household or use the family. My sister has the same packs and same PC as me, she has deleted all mods, but it doesn't work for her either. When doing the vanilla-method EA-app told me something needed to be repaired... I did that, but it didn't work either. I am out of ideas... How do I fix it?
