My sim was gaining weight and I decided to give her a lean potion to make it quicker instead of exercising. She got ALOT skinnier than I thought and you can see her bones. Ive been giving her the most fattening foods in the game hopeing she'll get some meat on her bones. But so far she hasn't changed.
Are lean potions permanent? I dont want a stick for a wife...

I have personally experimented {in game} with the lean and large potions. The effects are temporary and over time (much like real life) the effects will balance out.
Working out will change physique as well as eating and limiting workouts. It will take time but it will get there.
