I have been playing and got to a point where my two sims should have already been able to ask to be girlfriend/boyfriend, friendship is maximum and romantic is almost there. I looked everywhere and I see no option for ask to be boyfriend/girlfriend?
It also seemed to take longer to appear for me than it previously did. I think they were at about 50% romance (not sure of the satisfaction level) and had already woohoo'd before it showed as an option
I haven't seen it float up as a first-menu choice yet -- always have to go digging for it. I like to play as though the first-menu choices are interactions which are on the Sim's mind. It's alway nice to see them "want" to propose or whatever.
I have a maxed out level romance and friendship sim that I cannot move in, propose/ get married to. I've looked in every social interaction including relationships and, like you, it doesn't show
I just updated my game today. I want my sim to propose, but there's no proposal option. Their relationship is maxed out with best friends, totally in love, and nothing except Join Household, which I don't want.
Also, Sim has had to go outside the house and back in in order to sleep, otherwise she gets up and won't stay in bed. Same with the bathroom. It's being very glitchy and annoying with other weird things too, like stopping in the middle of cooking and I have to tell her to resume.
yeah, my sims got engaged before the new update, but now they can't get married. keep posting and hopefully they fix it
Two of my sims got engaged today but it was a pop-up post-Lovestruck that one of them was really feeling the relationship and wanted to get engaged. I accepted that pop-up, but it was a different button than propose.

My computer crashed and I lost all my saves, so I started a new Sim about a wee and a half ago, during the Reapers rewards event. I have never had the Ask if Single interaction appear. My Sim is not Aromantic, and she lost her Single and loving it lifestyle after I got her into a relationship with an in game Sim. I had them join the household, and there is no Ask if Single interaction available for them either. It's not under any of the Romance interactions. I have other Romance interactions available, just not Ask if Single. I can't complete the Cottage Living errand bc of this. I tried disabling mods, but that had no effect
