Astronaut Career cannot advance
I am playing on PC. I encountered the bug while MCCC & TOOL were installed. I have removed them, repaired my game and restarted my PC. I created a new save game and encountered something similar not exact to my issue. I do not know if this should be 2 bug reports or 1.
My original problem was that my sim went to work as an Astronaut but when she came home with the promotion check in her career panel, the game does not promote her or recognize she has come home from work at all. After trying a new save on the same lot a sim also in the astronaut career manages to come home but not be promoted. I don't know what to do. Details below.
With mods,
I have a sim in the Astronaut Career. She goes to work at level 1, returns with a pay raise and promotion to level 2. Then at level 2 she goes to work with the daily task completed (play chess) & returns home with the promotion marker in the jobs panel check marked. She is not promoted. She also does not return home from work. The game believes that she is still at her job and will not actually let her be home for the night. I played this out 3 days and she never comes home from work and cannot advance in her career despite the requirements being met.

With NO mods,
Still in this same save I uninstalled my mods, repaired my game, restarted my pc and opened to the morning before going to work. I then speed through the day and went to work. I have my daily task completed (play chess) and have the promotion check mark. When my work day is done my sim returns home but the game does not recognize her as being home. I played this out for a 2nd day. No matter what I do the game does not recognize her as home. Going to manage worlds takes away the work briefcase icon from her portrait but the game is still thinking she hasn't come home from work.

In a completely new save with a new sim and NO mods,
I then created a new save, with a new sim and made her a trash trailer to test in. She arrives in the world on Sunday, goes to work on Monday with her daily task to play chess completed. She returns home from work and the game recognizes that she has returned home from work. But she does not receive a promotion. The game seems to think she deserves one but she doesn't get one.
She also has burnout daze from one single day of work. I'm not loving that.
On the 2nd day of work she goes to work with her daily task still completed and the promotion checkmark still checked in her jobs panel. When she arrives home the game still does not promote her. The game is recognizing that she's back on her home lot but the game is not advancing her career despite having the promotion checked for a 2nd day straight. Her daily task is still completed so I don't know what else I could do to get her promoted other than to cheat it. When she returns home on the second day the promotion check skips backwards to unchecked. I'm very confused.
All gameplay was done on the Fletcher's Cottage Lot in Gibbi Point.
