Autonomy Problem

Autonomy will not work on selected sim in a new household. I was starting a new game with a single sims and started to notice that she wouldn’t do anything on her own. I moved her to a different lot, moved her to a new household, turned autonomy on and off, restarted the game, uninstalled and reinstalled (which took forever with the amount of packs I own), turned autonomy off then saved game then left then came back to turn autonomy back on (nothing), debugged her and did resetSim and nothing helped to make autonomy work on the sim I was playing. Other sims could take care of them selves in the household but the sim I was playing wouldn’t do anything. I’ve made several new households and even deleted the one that originally gave me problems but every single new household I create has the same problem….

  • Update, just checked old households and now autonomy isn’t working on any sims in any house hold…. So if I want to play I could probably only manage like 3 sims at most with making them do everything to keep them alive and happy 🙃

I have the same issue on PC. I have custom content disabled and my mods folder is empty, but no matter what I do, my selected Sim will not move or solve their needs on their own unless I do something myself. This really sucks; EA really needs to stop breaking the game with every new update. Let's hope this reply boosts your post and gets it noticed.

Update: My bad. I had "Disable autonomy for selected sim" checked. I feel like an idiot for not noticing it until now. However, I'll keep my comment here if anyone else has this issue on PC.

Where is that? The only option I see is autonomy: with a drop box that says full or off
