I don't see any need to sugarcoat it, it looks awful and like it was rushed out without any quality control. Horrendous when compared with other Kits.
Really, really bad. - gooochyeee3 years agoSeasoned Ace
@BluebellfloraI completely agree, I would've rathered they delayed this one but only release the simtimates kit as that was done well. Honestly I expect more. And the excuse "its just clutter" dosent work as they did well with the everyday clutter kit, They need to fix it. I *really* want to know who at quality control thought oh yah this is okay for release? And its not just these 2 items its the majority of the kit e.g the candle flame dosent work, all of the items are very blurry.
@gooochyeee I'm glad you've highlighted this as I was about to add this kit tomorrow. I'll wait and see if it's improved as it doesn't look up to standard. Compare it to Pastel/Desert Luxe kits which I'm happy with I expected to like this one too. It certainly does look rushed.
- gooochyeee3 years agoSeasoned Ace@simsplayer818 I am glad I gave you a heads up.
Honestly I hope someone form the EA/Sims Team respond and atleast say. "we are working on updating textures for a upcoming update" or "I have passed it along to the team". But this isnt okay. And it espically isnt okay how the community is getting completely blindsided and I think EA are trying to sweep it under the rug, which I hope isnt true. I ligamentally want to make this post so the team can improve the texture and make it 3d, because comparing this to other kits it isnt okay. And if there was no way around making the cord 3d and bracelets 3d then they could've just not done them as the hair brush looks nice on its own at the top. I hope the team actual take on this feedback and improve in the future too. - @gooochyeee I think as well, because they are IMO a reasonable price mostly and they've been good quality so far I just quickly scan the contents without really looking closely. The content of kits has improved over time too, I mean Moonlight Chic and Pastel Pop just as two examples, are really lovely additions. Their content and range are really great items, textures and designs. So I just expected that to continue. I just take a glance at what type of kit it is and don't look too closely at the items. I look forward to seeing them when I open my game, I'd have been very disappointed.
I'm really surprised at these images. It's not what we've come to expect at all. I'm sure they'll address this. I've got a shortlist of things now that will need to be fixed/improved before I buy them. - gooochyeee3 years agoSeasoned Ace
@simsplayer818Yeah I agree, in my opionion they need to fix: The Messy Storage Container (clean one is fine) To either make the top not flat or get rid of flat details, Hair dryer to either get rid of cable or make it 3d as currently flat, And make the candle have a flame when on
- @gooochyeee if you don't mind me asking you a question, are there fully functional night lights in the kit? Another player has been asking if they work to keep away monsters under the bed, as other night lights are supposed to do. The general opinion seems to be doubtful but none of the replies have the kit.
