I really appreciate the swatches update from September but after the years of TS4 I dramatically miss a possibility to paint the walls in neutral colours. I feel that we don't have too much options for walls even with the expansions. In my opinion wall painting gives a lot of personality to our rooms. I guess that it shoudn't be a huge problem to add some solid colour options into the game:Ok, below examples are not just a simple, solid colours but I miss somethink like these

This is painfully true. One sorely lacking thing is also a plain white version of more wall types. There is a plain white version of only a fraction of the walls, a lot of colourful wallpapers and paints with mouldings at the floor and ceiling level do not have a matching moulding in any white wall.EDIT:Here are examples of some very "basic" basegame wallpapers and paints that do not match the mouldings of any plain white basegame wall. Some would have a matching bottom but not a matching top.

I agree. I complained about the consistency in the pack colors when the interior designer pack came out.

Yes, please! But to be honest I actually want the color wheel like the one in TS3, I miss it so much.

@jupkmn , that Create-A-Style (CASt) color and pattern wheel in TS3 was the best thing about TS3!!! 😍 But if you were anything like me and created massive amounts of patterns in numerous color combos, it ended up making it painful to open up CAS mode or Build & Buy Mode because it took longer and longer to load all the swatches! By the end of TS3, it was taking about 30 min just to get into B & B Mode or CAS! 😥 If we ever have a color/pattern wheel like this again, I will have to be more selective in what patterns/colors I save! 😅

I made my own collection of neutral wallpapers. My CC has been tested on PC version of TS4 so it works well. Due to that I would like to give EA my file to implement this CC to the game if they want and can do this. I don't expect anything in return. Probably I'm the first CC creator which can't use own CC in the game. Haha.

@Sthenastia Great idea, lovely colours. I hope this gains some support. It needs a boost of new wall coverings. One thing I miss about previous Sims games is being more creative with decorating. Especially on console.

@Sthenastia In the pastel pops kit the 2 toned wall paper has all the swatches in single tones

Btw. I've checked again if it is difficult to add a new swatch. I've made this recolour in 3 minutes... That's sad that we are still limited to the questionable swatches. Especially on the consoles.

I've checked the most popular wallpapers and floor tiles on CrusedForge. Maybe it is a good idea to collaborate with the most popular CC creators from that platform and implement some CC to the game again? There is a huge potential.
