Bed clothes should be hot or cold by the type not category

I notice especially with infants or toddlers that their sleeping clothes are either hot or cold.

As in a diaper is too hot but a dress is cooler. Or a onesie with a hat keeps them too cold but a sweatshirt is warm enough.

The bed clothes should keep them warm if they are warm clothes. And cool if they are cool clothes. It should be by the type of clothes not just the category.

My toddler was too hot in a diaper but cooler in a full outfit. It should not be that way.

And to keep infants warm they must always wear winter clothes to bed. The warmer onesies should be enough.

Thanks

  • Sims doesn’t actually care what the clothing item is or what it’s officially tagged with - only specifically which outfit category you’re on. If a Sim is cold, they need a source of warmth - choices are heaters/thermostat set to heat, fireplaces, and winter outfits (even if in CAS you assigned them a bathing suit as their “winter” wear). If a Sim is hot, they need a way to cool down - a summer outfit (even if in CAS you created a “summer” outfit that’s a heavy coat) or air conditioning/thermostat set to cool.

The sleep outfit, like most outfits, is neutral and will not help with either extreme.
