@alyssajadesim Would exactly $600 work? This one has an Nvidia 1650 and other suitable hardware. Although its hard drive is small, it's enough for Sims 4 and all associated content.

If you're willing to get a used laptop, something like this ($550) would run Sims 4 on medium-high or high settings, even with all packs installed:

The graphics card in this one is a bit slower, and the laptop is $30 cheaper:

For new options, this is the best one I saw for about $550; its integrated graphics card is slower than the ones above, but it should still handle medium settings quite well.

If you really want to save money and just want the game to work, this is a perfectly viable option ($450) for medium settings:
There are likely other similar options out there too; let me know if you'd like to see more of a particular type.
i am so so sorry for my never-ending questions but I went to buy the Asus vivobook 15 that you linked but the price has increased by $100, and the other two i liked were sold out. i was wondering if you had any more recommendations for a laptop that could handle my mods and most packs (still under $600). thank you 🙂
would any of these work

@alyssajadesim None of those are in the same class as the ones I linked. Their processors are weaker, and their integrated graphics chips are significantly slower.
This one is quite similar to a couple of the laptops I linked, and there's a used option from Amazon Warehouse for $514:

This one has a slightly faster graphics card and larger hard drive and comes from the Acer Recertified Store. It's $580.

In terms of new laptops, this HP ($544) has the same specs as the Vivobook, except with a smaller hard drive:

This Acer ($560) has a 512 GB hard drive and an even stronger processor, with a faster graphics chip, than the Vivobook or the HP, although the chip is still somewhat slower than the MX150.

And yes, prices can change quickly, and stock turns over too.

okay, im sorry this is the last question ill ask. my computer that i have now is glitching every time i try to order one of the computers (bc its really old and slow). i was wondering if you could find any that would meet my requirements at walmart, staples, best buy, etc. i know i have probably annoyed you with all my questions but it would be very helpful if you could. thank you 🙂

That is the best you're going to do at that price.
