Build Mode: Delete Function Fails After 1st Object Deletion

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.110.294.1020 DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? ALL
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter Build Mode, select option with hammer or (pointer) select to delete, delete object; select 2nd object.
What happens when the bug occurs? The deletion will fail. To resolve, switch from hammer to (pointer) select or vice versa.
What do you expect to see? To be able to delete multiple objects.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. 10-31-24 Update and L&D installation. (Don't know which installation created the glitch) New, unmodded game, new household

@Wndblwz There's an older thread for all kind of changes to build mode not working. Is deleting the only thing you have issues with ?

I don't have any issues in my game.

I assume you did a game repair and deleted cache files ?

@crinrict I don't see an option to delete my post. This report can be disregarded. The repair worked. Thanks.

@crinrict I have that problem too, but on my ps5. I cannot place any two objects, fences or even terrain paint without exit the current tool and selecting it again!
