My issue is unrelated to that thread, I can place objects, build/remove walls/foundations/platforms just fine. But when I try to Save, the save spinny thing goes on forever, i left it to go make dinner, came back 2 hours later it was still going. This doesn't happen every time.
I have a 2024 gaming laptop, Win11, I own all packs including Bus&Hobs. I have had this issue playing both vanilla and with CC/Mods. Game is fully updated, I just did a game repair (and deleted caches, deleted Sims 4 folder too) and had the same issue.This started happening in just the last 2 weeks, probably it was the Bus&Hobs pre-release patch that did it.
