Hello!
I have a museum in Businesses and Hobbies with one business display for buyable paintings and the "Browse and Buy" activity enabled. The wording makes it sound like Sims should buy items ONLY on business pedestals and racks, however they're buying the art right off the walls too!
Can this be fixed? I'd like my museum to keep the gift shop.
I didn't have any employees for quite a while, yet they were being purchased somehow. I did have an employee for two days and it looked like he bought one of them.
Could you post a picture of your business ?
Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the specific configuration where I noticed it most, as I'm trying some fixes. The display stand (the wall-looking one where you can hang art) was in the same room as the art that was being bought from the walls, however.
I did have it configured briefly where the display was outside and I don't know for sure that anything was bought off the walls at that time.
I'm going to try putting the display wall in a separate room and see if that helps.
