[BY DESIGN] Terrain tools mess up map

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? use the terrain tools on a lot in Oasis Springs then go to the map screen
What happens when the bug occurs? The entire lot turns orange!
What do you expect to see? an unmolested map
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I was bored so I decided to rebuild some of the community lots. I wanted to put a small crater in the Desert Bloom park for the kids spaceship to rest in, but when I went to check it on the map screen it's totally ugly and not worth proceeding with.
Hello. I've been told this is by design. Once terrain tools are used, the terrain paint for the lot will be emphasized on the map.
