When using the glass roof tile all I can see is the flooring attached to the roof?
does anybody else have this issue or know how to fix this?
I’m trying to build a greenhouse/conservatory so I need to be able to see from the roof down to the bottom floor, I’ve searched for solutions but can’t seem to find anything anywhere ☹️
any help would be much appreciated
Click on the room until it has the yellow band at the top - click the yellow band and "remove ceiling"
Is it registering as a room? (I would say so if there's a ceiling in the first place). Have you moved the roof so you can see if the yellow band is appearing?
When you build a glass roof it should automatically delete the flooring underneath. Perhaps try rebuilding it?
@llamateapot As soon as you change the roof pattern to one of the glass roofings it normally becomes 'see-through' to the room below. But... I have found occasionally that this doesn't happen in the past with a skylight I made. I'm assuming it has to do with factors of the roof &/or floor you're adding it above, but I have never troubleshot what caused it. I'm thinking maybe once it was when I had traced it in fencing, but I just don't remember.
Can you please add a screenshot of the roof area, plus of the room/s below it, and shot of the roof with the sides down. I could reproduce the area and see if I can reproduce the issue. Thanks!
