Can i download sims 4 on EA then buy packs on instant gaming

I already have sims 4 on EA but I want to get city living on Instant gaming. If I buy the pack will I be able to play it with my base game.

    @2kiya2 That should simply be a code you redeem on Origin.

    EA generally advises against buying from not approved third party sources though.

i Just bought the Island Living expasion pack and it word just fine. i was also in doudt at first and therefore started by boying one of the kits, which also worked just fine.
