"Get Famous" interactions not completing, and dialogue option not appearing.

I don't have any mods or cc in use at the moment, because I recently repaired my game.

The "Get into hair and makeup" interaction puts makeup on my sim, but the hair is never done. I'm not even sure if the hair is supposed to be different sometimes, because this portion of the animation doesn't occur. The interaction also never shows as complete, so I can never get full points/pay for the event. 

The "practice lines with co-star" dialogue option isn't appearing, no matter how long I speak with my co-star. Yes, I make sure I am interacting with my co-star, and not someone else.

Finally, the "perform patient check-up scene" (I don't recall the exact name of this interaction) doesn't complete. They shake off their nerves, and the scene begins, but then my sim just stands there. Just like hair and makeup, this action also never shows as complete, so I'm unable to finish the performance. 

I've tried completing the tasks in different orders, spamming the prompts, and I recently repaired my game. As mentioned, I don't use mods or cc. Please help. I am so mad at this pack.
