Can I edit tags on official EA CAS items?
When I use CC, it's easy to use Sims 4 Studio to change things like what category the outfit shows up in (formal, party, etc.), which is especially helpful if you want the item to count as hot weather or cold weather clothing.
Is there a way to change these tags for official EA content? For example, there's a long-sleeve dress that came with Pets. I would love for it to count as a cold-weather item because it has long sleeves and layers and the skirt looks like a quilt. Can I somehow re-tag this outfit to be cold weather?
I hope this question makes sense. I've been Googling it and only finding answers for how to re-tag CC.
- @ArendelleMage You can. You'd have to create an "override" CC item. It'll change the default item and add whatever tags you want.
However, once you put the override in your mods folder, the original will be gone and you'll only see yours... which will show up as "CC", since that's what you're creating.
There's no way to change the original tags without also making it "CC".
