Can I play Sims while an expansion is downloading?

Hi, currently I'm downloading the Sims 4 Vampires.  When I want to continue with my game it tells me that playing while downloading can have negative effects, I just want to resume to my game untill...

Hi @Ingridimus 

It shouldn't be a problem. However, think that because you're installing some content it may cause some sync problems and some of your progress may not save properly. If I were you I would wait until the download is complete. Come on, we all love sims but the download is not that long! 😉

Haha, I know the download was not that long. 

But since I had some issues with the internet it only downloaded wit 70 kb/s haha.

Anyway, I've been patient and played something else, so now my guilty pleasure can start xD
