Columns and lights disappearing when zooming in build mode

I just updated my game today so I don't know if this is a new feature but I swear columns and lights disappear now the same as in live mode in build mode when you're zoomed in. I don't know if it's a weird thing with the lot I'm building on or if this is a new feature and wanted to see if anyone else noticed the change. I know this is an intentional feature in live mode to make visibility easier but in build mode I want to see the things I'm building and find it annoying.

I included pictures of how zoomed in I can be until it disappears. Maybe I'm just going crazy but I wanted some feedback, thanks :)

    I came searching for the same thing! I've also noticed this since updating my game. As a builder/content creator...it's kind of frustrating because I like to see the light in each room for screenshots. Some people may prefer it but I sure don't.

    I have built on other lots and I haven't had the same issue, the columns and lights stay way more. I was building without cc on a residential lot in Innisgreen, not sure if that had anything to do with it.
