Can I buy and play the Sims 4 without having the original Sims/Sims 2/Sims 3?

@sarahmill_x, yes! You would only need the Sims 4 Base Game to play The Sims4! 🥳 The Sims 4 is a separate game from the other versions (TS1, TS2, and TS3), so each version works independenttly of the others.
(You can keep it simple with just the base game, but you can also add any Expansion Packs (EP), Game Packs (GP) , or Stuff Packs (SP) providing that you only get packs for TS4 )😉
