Can only place one furniture at a time

When I buy an object e.g. a chair I place it but when I select for another object, it won't place. What I have to do is go back to live mode then onto build and buy again. Get's a bit frustrating when doing a room. 

This is the first time I've had a real issue with bugs in the game (I know lucky).
