Can the emotion system be ever improved?

I super love this game. Also love the new Likes and Dislikes. But I think the emotion system is kinda a bit of a mess?

Like for example, my Sim will do something she dislikes (exercising for example) but the number one thing she will still feel is Inspired "by good decors in her house". I mean my Sim's been living in that house for like years, shouldn't she stop feeling inspired by the decors of her house every single day? And my Sim always feels happy by the central heating for hours...everyday. Shouldn't central heating be basic and will make them feel comfortable instead...I dunno. I feel like Comfort should not be an emotion anyway and it should be like one of the bars under hunger, energy etc.

Another thing. When a Sim dies, the others grieve...until one of them feels Inspired by the decors or something. Grieving emotions shouldn't be overpowered by emotions like being happy by central heating and stuff like that.

Please improve the emotion system. I love emotions, but it's kinda a mess. Thanks.

@bae281995 , I do not work for EA, but I do agree that the emotions system , at least some of the triggers, can be problematic! 😞  Thankfully, in the last patch they toned down the Inspired moodlet for those that have the Bust the Dust Kit and have a clean house.  That inspired moodlet was handy for my painter and piano player, but not so helpful for my athlete and my computer programmer! The problem was that I couldn't just turn of the dust system for houses that don't need to be inspired and instead would benefit more from Energized or Focused moodlets!  So I'm very thankful they toned it down in the patch we got on Thursday! 🙌 But that is just one example!

I really agree with you on the grieving of a loved one in the game.  I've heard others mention this many times as well! 🤨

Hopefully they will continue tweaking some of these emotions and moodlets! 🤞
