Can the Lice Cold Retail Freezer be used to sell food on residential lots?

So I have a sim who is into baking and cooking who needs extra cash. I don’t want to open a retail store but want to sell her baked goods etc. I really want to do it from home and I also really don’t want to have to do a street sale. I’d like it to be a passive thing where people just occasionally come by and buy her stuff without me telling them too or asking her to stand there selling stuff for ages.

if I get a Lice Cold Retail Freezer (the one from Get To Work) for her and she puts it by her front door (and stocks it with what she’s willing to sell) will passing townies buy the stuff from her? Can you just leave the stuff in the fridge for people to buy while you are doing other things around your house?

  • @maddinwritestuffI've not been able to get my Lice Cold Freezers to work at all for a while, even in my many retail lots as I've been having a lot of issues with my game.
But I have family baking businesses run from home using the cupcake factory and clicking on "Sell to bakery" on all of their products to sell instantly from their home. I use it for a lot of my farming Sims, like a little cottage enterprise.

Edit: you could do what I often do and add a residential private house to a retail lot. Then you could sell baked goods from the bakery displays from the Get to Work pack if the freezer doesn't do what you want it to do. I usually have a shop and a house/flat/trailer for the retailer to stay in when they are working on their products at the retail site. But you could effectively have a little house that is a retail lot for baked goods and have it separate from your primary residence but still guarantee custom for your products.

I usually pick a totally different world so my Sim effectively has a second home in somewhere like Sulani for example.
