Can you put Kiosks ( that function ), on community lots that are unowned?
I was wondering with the new Hobbies and small Businesses pack if you can put Kiosks on community lots that are unowned so that your sim needs to pay to visit them.
No. Ticket kiosk will only work on a lot with a registered small business. (Did not test on a retail business, but doubt it works there).
I added the kiosk to a Lounge community lot. The only option when clicking on it as a visiting sim was "Register small business". My visiting sim did registeer a small business, but nothing changed. And the only option was still there. It tured out he had registered a SM on his homelot.
Btw: When placed on a SM lot, the ticket kiosk will not stop visitors to walk into the business area. They wil just need to pay at the kiosk before they can use any business related activities/facilities.
