Canada costs more than the US?

So the price that comes up when I try to buy the new expansion pack is 54.99 in Canada. and the US price is 39.99 but once you put 39.99 into an exchange calculator the pack should cost 51.61 dollars. But instead the pack costs 54.99 dollars. Anyway I can get the cost lower?

@piggy5103 TBF, this has always been the case. Things in Canada cost slightly more than things in the US.

@piggy5103 That is about right. CND has been hovering around 75 cents to the US dollar since before COVID. On top of that we see prices rounded up to the 99 cent mark so Canadians often end up spending an additional dollar on top of conversion. To give another example I play World of Warcraft and when I buy a character server transfer it is 32$ for me but around 25$ USD

@piggy5103 Everything in Canada costs more than in the US, even after currency conversion, because wages in Canada are also higher. According to my Google search just now, minimum wage in Canada is $12. In the US it's only $7.25.
