Cancelled Grim Reaper

I didn't realize that the TOOL mod and better build buy was messing with the Grim Reaper Reward System, and I cancelled it. is there any way that I can reset the Grim Reaper and go back to do all the missions? Also, since I did that, does that mean that now I won't have any of the missions going forward?

  • @Jomoon017  You can move accountDataDB.package, which is in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, out of that folder.  This resets your progress in the tasks, but it doesn't delete any rewards you've already claimed, or points you've earned.

Do NOT delete this file—it also holds data from the first round of login events.  Instead, just set it aside for now, and put it back (delete the new file) once you've finished the tasks again.

@Shadowsofthemoon   Hi!  Were you able to get the tasks again?  I was having similar issues with the tasks.  For me, I'm pretty sure it was mod related.  What fixed it for me was renaming my TS4 folder located in Documents / Electronic Arts / The Sims 4  to The Sims 4_MAIN.  Then I launched the game so it created a new TS4 folder.  I played with the Maxis Purdue folder from Library and all the tasks I had not completed showed up again.  I was able to complete all of them through week 2.  After completing all the tasks, I exited the game, renamed the new folder to The Sims 4_REAPER and renamed the The Sims 4_MAIN to The Sims 4 (so the game now recognizes my original folder with all my households and builds in tact).  I hope that the next round works as intended but if not, then I will switch back to my REAPER folder to complete the tasks.  The steps I used were provided by AHQ Hero Crinrict here.
