Cannot Move Sim Into Student Housing

I just enrolled my sim into university. She is a single sim with no other members in her household.  But when I go to select student housing it does not let me complete the enrollment process. I select the housing, choose to sell all my current furnishings, hit the checkmark and then nothing happens. I can select my sim and transfer money back and forth but the checkmark is now grayed out and I cannot move forward. I tried saving it as a new file but it still does not work. I have no mods installed and I have tried 4 times and have had to force restart. The only way I can complete enrollment is to live in my current home.
