Cannot Vacation with Entire Household (can only bring 1 person with me)

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load a family that has 2+ kids and a spouse and try to "take a vacation". When I go to take a vacation with my household (I have tried this on 3 separate households, each with children -- one in del sol valley and two families in eco harbor), I can only select one sim to travel with even though it says up to 7. I want to bring my children on vacation but I cannot select more than one Sim to join the main sim. This happens both from trying to take a vacation from the phone and also from the computer. I have tried with multiple families.
What happens when the bug occurs? If I have the whole house selected I cannot press continue. If I unselect people I can only select 1 person to come with me. It wont let me take my whole family on vacation (which is a bit infuriating).
What do you expect to see? Being able to take a vacation with my whole family.....it says I can bring up to 7 but obviously that is not the case.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

- @robotrynn I repaired my game through origin which allowed me to select my whole family on reload!
Although also in accordance with the replies I got to this post and some other investigating work -- there does still seem to be general bugs for traveling with sims (not just vacation).
I am thankful a repair resolved this for me this time. I will keep my eyes open for the travel bug as well.
