Cannot write numbers to transfer funds or say how many bathrooms are in a house

When I was trying to write down how many bathrooms and bedrooms were in my house while in build mode it just didn't work, I could remove the previous numbers but I was unable to write any new ones. I encountered the same issue while splitting a sim from the household and I was not able to transfer funds to that sim  so I can't move her out since she doesn't have any money.

I even tried turning off script mods to see if that was the issue, but it isn't.
