Lots Not Showing Up in Live Mode
Platform: PC Any mods or cc? Yes Game version: 1.121.372.1020 is anyone else having this issue? people are saying it's happening because of the For Rent pack. it's only happening in some worlds. The lots show up from Map View but not in Live Mode. what's the point in making save files if the default lots are gonna appear after placing my own? or show up an empty lot? smh. please help this is very annoying. yes i have mods but i tested this without mods and it still happens.
gallery issues
I haven't been able to find if anyone else is having this issue but my gallery is missing all my recent saves (I see saves listed at the top from 2022). And households and builds aren't saving either. If anyone else have been having the issue, have you figured out a fix for it? Thank you.
Build mode not working, neither is save
I have been trying to extend my house in build mode. It will let me move a few walls, but then it glitches and won't let me move the wall or even delete anything with the sledgehammer. I then try to save the game, and it will not leave the saving screen/ finish saving. I have to force quit my app. I have repaired the game, removed mods, restarted the game, you name it, it has been done.
Items don't sell in build mode/Game crashes when saving
Preface: No mods are installed whatsoever, since the BG update to prep for Royalty & Legacy kinda nerfed the only mods I use. I'm trying to redecorate the Yuma Heights lot in Oasis Springs with stuff from Royalty and Legacy, but it's bugging out like crazy: Things that I sell to replace with other stuff will be sold, but the money doesn't change, or the item just stays attached to my cursor like I didn't do anything yet; and when I try to save, it takes five-ever until the game either crashes or I Ctrl+Alt+Delete to end the program, so I have to start all over. For probably over a year (possibly longer), I’m having an issue where after downloading a few lots/households from the Gallery, I can no longer move furniture in Build/Buy mode. I’m unable to pick up or reposition objects. This happens in every save file, not just one. The only way I can temporarily fix it is by deleting the localthumbcache.package file and clearing the cache folders. However once I download more items from the Gallery, the issue happens again. I have repaired the game and the problem still returns. I do have mods and cc installed but they are all up to date and I just don't know how this keeps happening every single time. Has anyone experienced this before or know what could be causing it?
The elevator disappeared from the apartments at Chic Street 21, San Myshuno.
Hi! Does anyone know how I can put the building into construction mode to replace the elevator? My Sim can't go up to or down from their apartment and I have to use the "Teleport Here" cheat. I know I can achieve this using the object debug command, but how do I implement it? Every department says that construction is not allowed outside the designated zone... So idk, am I cooked?
Stair Railing UI not Appearing
Hey so with the new update I can flare the stairs but the railing UI is not popping up at all. I can not select the railing on either side or where to place the railings start or stopping. Doesn't matter if it is a new lot or not, or Custom Content or not it wont show up. As you can see below, can flare the stairs, just UI for the Stair Railings wont show upBuild Mode Not Working
In addition to the lagging that everyone else shared, I'm having a hard time building anything since the Royalty Expansion Pack update. The flooring only goes diagonally, Paint keeps disappearing from walls, and the regular roofs are coming out diagonal. Is there a way that we don't have to update unless we purchase the new DLC?Three fires in one night!
My Sims had really bad night. There is this fireplace in one of my Sims bedrooms. In front of it is coffee table with a plant. Then there are two rocking chairs. The fireplace is fully upgraded and until that night I had no issue with it. This night, however, just when my Sims went to sleep, fire started. And, of course, none of the five Sims in my house could sleep through that. Fortunately, I have sprinklers, so the damage was small. But I still had to replace the plant, which was annoying and cost me money. Just as my Sims calmed down and went back to sleep, another fire started. I thought it's the plant, so, I sold it and left the table empty. But just as soon as my Sims went sleep, another fire started. And this time, it was the table that caught fire. After that, I finally remembered to turn off the auto-flame and that helped. I also moved the table, which I had to replace, so more money, to be further away from the fireplace. But I still don't understand why this happened now. My Sims lived in that house for quite some time and were sleeping in that room with auto-flame every night and there were no issues until that very night. I didn't change anything in that room before that night and I also did not change any of my mods before that gameplay. None of my Sims have bad luck and none of them have fear of fire. After that, I did the game repair in EA App. But I am still reluctant to turn the auto-flame on for that fireplace. Does anyone have any idea what may have happened and what may cause this sudden firepocalyple? Because I have no idea.
