Can't attend deposition

Syxarp By the term Base game computer luthienrising means to use a computer that came with the base game. In your case though, any that came with Discover University should be ok as that pack gave us the Legal career your sim is in. You can find the base game computers by using the pack search filter while you are in the computer section of the build/buy catalog in build mode.
As to your issue, it's been a while since I played that career, but the option you are looking for most likely has a requirement your sim hasn't met yet before the option will show up. Read the mouse over tool tips and wall posts and career panel carefully and you'll probably find what you've missed. I've missed little things in this game more times than I can count like this. Also, there are times when options aren't where we would think to check. So, look in other places like on the computer, the client if available and your sim. Not all options show up where one might think. And lastly, give it time. Some things don't show up until a certain time like right before the time is supposed to be wherever and then you get a Go To pop up.
