cant clone anything / eyedropper tool doesnt work

Have you done a Repair on your game? I'm playing on Mac, but cloning is working as expected for me.

yep, i always repair after an update and delete localthumbcache

its working again, thankfully. might have been an issue as i loaded into the game right before the patch on july 25th

How often does the bug occur? 95% of the time (I think it worked for a few times but then stopped)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.329.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them (except for Journey to Batuu).
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use the eyedropper tool in Build Mode.
What happens when the bug occurs? It allows me to select and use the eyedropper tool, but it has no functionality and doesn't show me the desired item when I click on it.
What do you expect to see? For it to work ☹️
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, but none of them change the UI and/or mechanics of Build Mode.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Only started showing up after the new patch + after downloading Lovestruck

It's my first time reporting a bug like this, so please inform me if I have missed a step or if you want further clarification. I had this bug when playing last night.

sort of same, some things defently cant be cloned.... maybe when I reload
