NennaRC Do you still need help? I only saw your post just now. What you can do is manually delete auto-saves from Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves. They'll be labeled Slot_ffffffff.save , with backups having an extra .verx on the end. Manual saves are labeled as they always have been, so you wouldn't be touching them when removing the auto-save files.
