Same as title. Started to overheat, i tried to reset him but clicking reset gave me the death pop up. i then used cheats to remove death traits. He started the looping thing. i used cheats to kill him by fire which like showed no animation, got stuck in one place and showed the death message after i reseted again. fed him ambrosia to revive again. and yet it's still stuck in the react to becoming a ghost loop.
t1er8cmo6lcz You have most likely permanently messed up that sim by the reset and use of cheats. The best thing you can do in a situation like that is to exit to the main menu and reload the save. Hopefully you saved shortly before this happened, so you don't lose too much progress. Or have the autosave active.

Well f that's concerning, i had a save right before the sim first died but cannot find it in the load saves section, it probably got overwritten. IS there literally no other way? :(
t1er8cmo6lcz Try recovering the save. If you have been playing the save and have saved without creating a new save you might be able to go back. On the load menu, select your latest save. Mouse over to the right. You should see the recover button next to the delete button. Click on the recover button and follow the prompts from there.
If you have multiple saves you can see in the Load menu panel, then you can try the recovery on any and all of them until you find one you can use.
