Can't download the Sims 4 on another laptop

I'm a Mac user and an avid Sims fan, so I owned and purchased a bunch of additional packs for the Sims. My sister wanted to play it on her laptop (hers is Windows), so I gave her my account so she could download it on her laptop. However, it didn't let her install the game, and I'm confused because I thought I could have the Sims 4 download on more than one laptop as long as it was under the same account. Can someone please help me with this? I don't want my sister to buy packs when I already have bought a handful.

    I have a Macbook with my Sims 4, and my sister wanted to play on her laptop (under my account). Is it possible for the Sims 4 to be downloaded on two different laptops but under the same account? She uses Windows, and I use a MacBook, so I know that mine allows Origin and my sister's, the EA app. I just thought that they'd still be the same account so there shouldn't be an issue with downloading the game on her laptop, however it wouldn't let her.

    @BeaUriel7012  Yes, it's possible to install Sims 4 on a number of computers using the same account.  I currently have mine installed four times on my own computers and have tested on other machines as well.  However, only one account can be signed into Origin or the EA App at a time.

    What happens when your sister tries to install Sims 4, or login to the EA App if that's the issue?  Please post a screenshot of the error.

    You can have the game installed on multiple computers, Mac and Windows, and be signed in using the same Origin/EA account on each computer but you cannot simultaneously play the game using the same Origin/EA account. You bought the packs for one account. This is to combat people paying for the packs once and then sharing all their login details with multiple people so they can play for free, which is precisely what you're doing.
