Can't extinguish fire on roof

@mmurrhee I'm on console but if I have a fire that for some reason isn't extinguished I let it burn out and then depending on the damage either replace it all or exit the game as soon as it allows me to (since I can't use Options while the fire burns) then revert to an earlier save/backup point. I save every 15 mins on 2 saves so I don't lose much work luckily.
The more expensive of the fire alarms is supposed to make the difference but if you already had that and it didn't work then the roof setting may have been the factor. The fires are a problem in that everything often stops and nobody does anything a lot of the time. In my game the firefighters don't even turn up at all and my Sim can't call them.
