Currently I have every single plant available with my expansions in my garden except Kava. I've bought a few hundred of each seed pack, several hundred of the uncommon, at least a few hundred rare, I even have 38 of the cow berries and I've hunted all over Sulani but can't find wild kava root. None of the vendors I've seen ever have anything but food plates. Could someone please tell me where on the island to find wild kava?
@CorsennaRyu There is a wild kava plant in the conservation area near the lot at the volcano. You can also buy it from the kiosk in the area where the bar is located along with taro, pineapple and coconuts.
I never knew that. Does that mean you can get a kava bowl from there as well?
One of my sims aspirations is to get gold at a kava party but whenever I have a kava party I can’t find any kava bowls to make a toast with. Where do I get a kava bowl from? I held my party at the bar but there is no option anywhere to purchase one or get one from the bar inventory.
I think you can find the bowls lying around in Sulani, too.
@hellieo66 I've never done a Kava Party so I gave it a try. What worked for me was to have my sim prepare a bowl lo kava at home. I then dragged the bowl of prepared Kava into his personal inventory and hah him arange the social event. He was the Kava party host and I chose guests and it was to be held at the bar in Sulani. So he went. I dragged the bowl from his personal inventory to the table and did not immediately get the option to call the others to have the kava when I clicked on the bowl. I then queued him to chat with a party guest and tried to click the bowl again right away and did have the option to call them to drink kava, so I had him do it. Then they all went to drink the kava.
In case you were asking this also, the kava bowl can be purchased at the sim'e home in build mode from appliances > kitchen appliances.
@hellieo66 When you're at home go to build/buy mode > appliances > kitchen appliances and you can buy the Kava bowl. If you put it in the right position on a counter (sometimes a fidgety process) you can click on it and make kava for $18 if you don't have any fresh Kava. I also have kava or a kava plant in the EA gallery (under user: SheriGR), if you just want to download one. 😉
