Can't get clean after using a potion, no curses on my Sim.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? V1.21
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Cats & Dogs City Living Discover University Get to Work Parenthood Realm of Magic
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Drink a potion and fail at it
What happens when the bug occurs? Cannot get clean no matter how I try to clean my Sim. I thought it was a Curse, but I have no indication that I have a curse, and doing the curse removal cheats do not work. If I fill my Sim's needs to full with a cheat, the Hygiene need immediately goes back to the same place.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my Sim's hygiene need increase, but it just goes down.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I have a Sim that has been following the Realm of Magic aspiration tree.  I was trying to increase my level by making/drinking potions, and after drinking a couple potions and having them affect me negatively, now my Sim can't get clean.  I thought it was a curse, but I don't have any indication that I have a curse on my Sim.  I've used cheats to remove the "can't get clean" curse, to no affect, and have increased my Sim's needs to full via a cheat and the hygiene need goes right back to where it was.

I thought this was a bug with the shower/tub combo issue that was discovered, but no method of cleaning my Sim works (shower, tub, sink, etc.)
