Can't get Gold in Actor Career

I wasn't having any issues with this at first. I was getting gold with commercial and tv show gigs. Then I got the celebrity perk where you no longer need to do auditions or get into costume. All of a sudden, I can't get to gold anymore. I will do EVERYTHING and still I will be just slightly less than gold. I even did the celebrity cleanse to get rid of that perk and I still cannot get gold. I have tried doing all risky acts or all safe acts. Nothing works. I don't understand.
