Can't get pasted MISS WORK popup.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? Version 1.77.146.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Just your Delux version and that's it.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No idea. All I did was play the game normally and for the first day of trying to go to work this message pops up. I can't proceed past this. Apparently, it's an old bug and yet it's not fixed yet from all the posts I saw already!
What happens when the bug occurs? Press Go to work or the sim does it automatically and all of a sudden you get a popup that says (MISS WORK?) Name is currently at work. Her boss may not think well of her skipping work. Are you sure she should? Yes or No. Both options do nothing.
What do you expect to see? The sim go to work.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Fresh game. First time for me to play it and I can't continue because of this. I am not happy.

@crinrict I solved the issue. I deleted this thread not sure why it's back up but I found out that by making the foundation just a tad higher off the ground the Sims can not come in or out of the house. A single staircase solved that issue. Hints why I saw the message. She couldn't leave the house. Too scared to jump lol 😆

@DestructiveBurn There have been reports of the message appearing and I had them myself but it always worked when clicking no for me.

Do you have a link to the thread you're referring to ?

@crinrict I solved the issue. I deleted this thread not sure why it's back up but I found out that by making the foundation just a tad higher off the ground the Sims can not come in or out of the house. A single staircase solved that issue. Hints why I saw the message. She couldn't leave the house. Too scared to jump lol 😆

Fair enough, Yeah, at first when I saw the issue, the sim showed a walking icon crossed out and then the popup "MISS WORK". So I searched it up online as what most should do and saw posts like this saying it's a bug. https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/955063/what-is-this-strange-message

There are other posts saying the same, but you get the idea, "old comments talking about it". You would think a fix would have shown up by now. So even checked Youtube on the issue and nothing. So I posted here. About 40 min later, I solved the problem when I tried to move the sim outside and she wouldn't go. All I needed was the stairs. "View Screenshot". So if anyone has this issue, make sure your sim can leave the house.

P.S. Fun game, I'm enjoying it. 🙂 My first house, don't judge it lol.

@DestructiveBurn There was a bug for key holders at one point but that has been fixed.

Guess there's different causes for this.
