Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Reach rank 9 in a career and then try to get promoted
What happens when the bug occurs? After sending sims to work, none of them will get promoted to the highest position of their careers.
What do you expect to see? When promotion requirements are met and the checkmark is yellow, sims should get promoted.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

My sims have been stuck in their career ranks for quite some time now, without ever getting a promotion. One of the sims is an Actress, she doesn't get promoted even though her checkmark is yellow. The other sim is a Matchmaker, he's been stuck at rank 9 of this career and can't get promoted as well, even when meeting the requirements. At first I tried using Mods to promote them, but that did not work. This keeps happening even after deleting Mods. I also made the Matchmaker sim quit his job and rejoin it later, he kept getting promoted normally up until rank 9 again, after which his promotions stopped once again.
